Fun people. Eclectic outfits. Trendy accessories. Beautiful faces. This year’s images were created around a fashion catalog theme. Cosmetics counter head-shots on high key and “couture” gray for the 3/4 and full-length outfit feature. Fundamental fashion elements, precisely executed & impeccably lit, a classic combination. Images were created in the studio over a three week period from the last week of March through mid April.

How does the model program work?
For the last few years we’ve asked our models for their help in fine tuning our program. We’ve reviewed the responses to our surveys and a number of things stand out. Our models really enjoyed the experience. They appreciated the referral savings and the additional unique images they could get as a result of participating. On the other hand, almost every model wished they had done their actual senior portrait session later. They gave lots of reasons: “My prom dress wasn’t ready, still don’t have my summer outfits, pale skin, outdoor images with gray leafless trees don’t excite me…” Frankly, the reasons made a lot of sense to us. So we took action. In early 2009, we changed our model program.

Our model program is unique.
Most student representative programs require that you have your session completed between January and early April. Why? Because studios need advertising sample images early enough to meet print deadlines for seasonal marketing programs. In other words those programs serve the studio’s promotional needs while disregarding the participants. That doesn’t seem like a mutually beneficial arrangement to us.

How are we different?
First of all, participants in our model program are NOT required to have their senior portrait sessions done early. Instead, we schedule your participation in a series of open and private “cycles,” each created around specific themes. These cycles represent additional looks… and extra outfits! They’re a lot of fun, a chance to try some really trendy looks, and they add variety to your images. You won’t have to exclude your prom dress or summer outfits and you won’t have to accept lifeless outdoor portraits. Best of all, you can schedule your regular senior session anytime before mid July, just like everyone else!

I’m a 2012 Senior, how can I participate?
Each year, we ask clients & their parents to refer candidates for our next season’s model program. In the past, you had to be referred to participate. Next year, for the first time ever, we’re opening the program up to any qualified 2012 senior who applies before the November 26, 2010 deadline. Simply submit the Application Form and we’ll verify your school/class information and contact you after the application deadline to setup an in-person consultation.
